FERWAFA Unveils New Amavubi Head Coach and Provisional Squad Ahead of FIFA Series

The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has held a press conference to officially unveil the new Amavubi Head Coach and present the provisional squad ahead of the upcoming FIFA Series.

The press conference was presided over by FERWAFA President Fabrice Shema Ngoga, and attended by FERWAFA General Secretary Bonnie Mugabe, the newly appointed Amavubi Head Coach Stephen Constantine, as well as members of the media fraternity.

During the briefing, the federation officially introduced Stephen Constantine as the new head coach of the Rwanda national team, expressing confidence in his experience and leadership as the team prepares for international engagements. The provisional squad that will represent Rwanda in the upcoming FIFA Series was also presented.

FERWAFA President Fabrice Shema Ngoga said the federation is confident that the new coach meets the required standards and is capable of leading the national team to greater achievements.

“Coach Stephen has fulfilled the minimum requirements, and in his understanding he is coming to accomplish unfinished business. We believe his experience will contribute significantly to the growth and performance of Amavubi,” said Fabrice Shema Ngoga.

The FERWAFA President also took the opportunity to thank the media for their continued partnership in promoting Rwandan football and mobilizing supporters.

“The media remain a crucial partner in mobilizing fans and promoting the game. We encourage you to continue working with us so that the FIFA Series becomes a shared success for everyone,” he added.

The FIFA Series will provide an important platform for Amavubi to test the squad, strengthen team cohesion and build momentum ahead of future international competitions and it is set to happen from 26th to 30th March 2026.
