FERWAFA President, Fabrice Shema Ngoga, received the Chairman of Al-Hilal Omdurman, Hisham Hassan Al-Subat, at the federation’s headquarters on Saturday, March 21,2026.

Chairman Al-Subat was accompanied by a high-level delegation including the Vice President and Head of the Sports Sector, Engineer Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Aliqee, Treasurer Al-Din Mohammed Abdullah, Director of Public Relations Al-Fadil Hussein Abdel Samad, and Deputy Head of Public Relations and Media Haitham Hassan Al-Subat.

During the visit, the delegation toured FERWAFA’s facilities and held discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and solidarity between the two football institutions.

FERWAFA President warmly welcomed the Chairman and expressed his appreciation for the visit, highlighting the strong bond between Rwanda and Sudan. He reaffirmed the unwavering support of the Rwandan people towards Al-Hilal in their continental journey and wished the club success in their upcoming CAF quarter-final fixture against RS Berkane.

On his part, Chairman Hisham Hassan Al-Subat conveyed sincere gratitude on behalf of the Sudanese people and Al-Hilal supporters for the hospitality and continuous support extended by Rwanda. He emphasized that this solidarity, particularly during African competitions, reflects the strong friendship between the two nations and will always be remembered.

The visit further underlined the spirit of African unity through football and reinforced the growing collaboration between FERWAFA, Al-Hilal and the Sudanese people.
